OUR STORY
Endeavour Harmony Chorus is a multi-award-winning a cappella ensemble based in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Founded in 1996 by Lea Baker, Musical and Artistic Director, the Endeavour Harmony Chorus has grown from 25 singers at our inception into a 65+ member-strong ensemble with new members joining each year. Members come from all walks of life and include all age ranges.
Our repertoire includes a mix of Australian favourites, popular contemporary music, songs from hit musicals and much more, all performed in ringing four-part harmony.
Over the last 25 years, our group has achieved many accomplishments. We are six times Australian Champions and are the current Australian Champions, having won in May 2023. We have represented Australia internationally five times, achieving a place in the top ten choruses world-wide, in Las Vegas in 2015. A first for an Australian Chorus! We'll be heading to Kansas City in late October 2024 to perform on the international stage.
Other performance highlights include twice appearing on the Channel 7 Morning Show, performing at the Opera House for Confluence — Festival of India, ABC Radio’s Sing Out Sydney featured choir in 2019, and a performance in Qudos Arena for the Netball Australia Bushfire Relief Match in 2020. One of our favourites is Carols in the City and Lights of Christmas, performing on the steps of St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney.
We pride ourselves on being dynamic high-achieving singers who also love to have fun. The Chorus provides a caring, inclusive and supportive environment. Check out our Mission, Vision and Values here.
